This is the first season since I was like 5 and can actually remember watching NASCAR, that I am not that excited for the new season. The Chase really ruined last season and the changes to “overtime” keep getting more and more gimmicky. I dunno, its just becoming really hard to support and defend a sport that I have loved for 20 years, with all these gimmicks

Ditto. But for some reason I keep coming back to watching it. I barely pay attention to the points anymore. I watch each race for pure enjoyment now on a single race basis.

So I tuned it for a bit. Leaders at that point were two Camrys (grounded to the ground) and one Fusion. Sure they were all silhouette tube frame cars I get it but still - I wish stock car racing was really stock cars.
